Freedom Farms is brought to you by Australia’s oldest poultry processor, Cordina Farms. Since our beginnings in the 1940’s, Cordina has stayed true to our origins as a pioneer, an innovator, a quiet achiever and an ethical leader.
Cordina has become known for the tradition, expertise and stability that comes from four generations of a family business, dedicated to the growth and prosperity of Australian farming.
Over the decades, Cordina has brought to Australia many firsts and in Freedom Farms we introduce a brave new concept, to once again pave the way to the future.
In 1955, Cordina Farmer and past Premier Tom Lewis, was at the forefront of pioneering the open barn method of farming chickens, a system which formed the basis of all modern barn rearing of chickens until the current day.
In 2011, we introduce Freedom Farms; our vision for a sustainable, higher welfare future.
